Since my mom is sick with pneumonia, the "momma" roll fell to me (seeing as I'm the only girl left at home.) This means I spent my whole Friday cleaning the kitchen, washing clothes/folding clothes, babysitting, cleaning the bathroom, and helping my mom with her business.
And I am EXHAUSTED. Through this, I have decided that marriage can wait. Children? Not til I'm, like, 30. Housekeepers are a must. I refuse to have children if I don't have a housekeeper. Picking up after them is a never ending cycle.
But above all, I realized today that I could not live without my mommy. Until today, I never realized how much I take her for granted. She is the most hardworking person I know! I can't believe she does all of this stuff (and more) on a regular basis!
I can't believe she has to stay in bed for 3 weeks. I don't know how much longer I can take being the mom of the house.
Peace.
Elli
